Nov. 4th
I had a GREAT time on Halloween in Tehachapi- The Gandy Dancers threw a one niter.  The problem  is that 2 couples want to join the class- Perhaps they will, I do wonder about the timing-Oh well.........This weekend saw me doing Chores, Gardening and honey-dos This week is normal- Off Friday and then it's off and running again.

Why do so many Square Dancers and Callers put so little value to Square Dancing??  We must charge more to dance, and you'll discover that more value will be perceived- $4-5 dollars a person is crazy!!!!!!  Square Dancing is not cheap (like made in China) Square Dancing is valuable (It's the Rolex of entertainment choices) With Mental and Physical Health Benefits, Social interaction, Family Friendly and worth $20 a couple-or more!!!!!!!

A Fun, well attended, state council dance- Nice to see y'all- I hear a vote taken at this meeting will change the look and feel of California State Conventions (and I predict a sh*tstorm of howls from a lot of callers)  It should be interesting-I'll be calling at, and supporting state, many will not after this vote- I think "quality control" was badly needed and this might be the way (again expect a very large and loud whine)  Speaking of State, I hope somebody realizes that -paid parking with no in and out privileges was a BIG problem the last time in Sac. and will be unacceptable next year- Fix it please.   Sunday Eric H. an I called to an intimate group-FUN- But I think , as I expected, the Monday crowd is back to weeknite habits- Remember guys the 2nd Sundays were your idea and if your promised support fails, and when the Monday group collapses again ( The $ just don't work out for your budget-BTW I'm not their caller) WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO DANCE.- Oh well nothing new, unexpected or surprising.

The Storm is starting hehehehe- Speaking on Committees- Why doe's it take 5 months and at least 3 levels of politico's to  answer a simple question- Can we host the same trail dance we have for at least the last 3 years-AGGH!! OFW- Anyway I'll be calling a thing at a school tomorrow- There are some minor issues like when, where etc. but I'll be there- The Club who spearheaded this is confused too............BTW I hear somebody was a 1/2 hour late to a dance somebody missed last year.....Yet the rewards go on.  Maybe I'll start double booking -no/showing and be late-seems to work-AGGHHH

WOW A great SquareDanceParty in Oakhurst on Sat. Other than 6 couples the age of the crowd was 35 or less and we had over 15 squares.  WOW the Monday new dancers Hoedown attracted some 70+ people- It was a BLAST-WOW- The Tuesday Group is averaging better attendance than the Other area clubs- and in a city that's only 15% in size- By the way did you see where the Chairman of the Charlotte Nationals blamed callers for the dress code issues
Ray and Sandy PLEASE don't buy into this fellows misguided perspective- Let's have the biggest NSDC  in recent memory- Oh Yeah- The Cloggers and Line Dancers don't have to wear the "appropriate attire" yet they can dance- So WHAT'S the problem..................

 Let's give thanks for all of the blessings with have in the US and Thank the only GOD that we don't have "honor killings" of Women ,"Homicide Bombers" and the rest of the crap-Understand there ain't no allah -Read the news and realize Islam SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are Muslim and disagree-PROVE IT-Like speak against these terroristic  fools or all of you leave Earth-But first ask Jesus Christ for salvation-or don't As*holes

A Great Thanksgiving- # 1 Daughter made a fabulous feast at her house- Then I called for a family get together in Los Banos- Fun, Family and Thank You Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Saturday it's a Plus Dance in Santa Maria

A Fun, above average crowd in Santa Maria- Monday I picked up 2 new students for the class, Today I see the news that a Teacher will be flogged over a Teddy Bear the kids named Mohammed- Isn't that Mr. Ali's First name- I think I'll buy a copy of the Satanic Verses- Seems Rushdie was right- GOD help us.
