December 15th
        Hey It's been a while since I've had a chance to chat.
Here's whazzup
        Mrs. Rick got older (Birthday), I've had some GREAT Workshops (Mondays attendance is cool) (Tuesdays have
picked up after a rash of illnesses and travels) (Wednesday is moving at a good pace in spite of our weird alternate hall)
(Sunday was one of the best we've had-albeit a square was missing on the sick list)
        Dances I've called were in So Cal, and fun- Both above average crowds, yet smaller than in years past.
        The Insurance still is in progress for a portion (a small portion) of the 3000+ dollars left to pay for my replacement
equipment-sigh.................Oh Well
I'm looking forward to a Central Coast Dance Sat, a New years Eve Dance that already has some 50 people pre-sold
and I'm looking very forward to the celebration of the Birth of Our LORD!!!!!!!!!!
    Also Don't forget YOU can comment on my blogs-I get 98% private replies and I wish some of the sage advice
would be allowed to share in public( I do keep names private!!)

December 16th
     A FUN Party tonite- We did not have access to our hall so we had a party at a club members home-COOL HOUSE!!
Good Food, Good all Singing call dancing and we all noted- WOW-Lotsa people here-Let's make a New Years Resolution to show up at the Club.........sigh............anyway I've got my "adopted" daughter with us for a few days, I
would ask you pray for my Oldest- That all is well medically-Please

Thank you for prayer, all's well with my oldest-Thank you Lord!!!!!!!!!!
We had a great Pre-Christmas dinner with Lynn's siblings on Sunday and a Fun Monday and Tuesday Workshop!!
I'm looking forward to wrapping up 2008 with an A2 Dance on Sunday, a Class/workshop on Monday, a demo (in lieu of
our normal meeting Tuesday and then NEW YEARS EVE-In Bakersfield, Basic/Plus/A2 with Rounds- Click for info

Happy New Year
I cannot believe the crap going on in our activity............From Clubs "budgeting" to save money (aka Kiss of death)
by hiring lousy callers and cuers who work cheap , the political BS that kills clubs  to the continuing trend of clubs allowing cuers to "do an extra hour of rounds" so that by 9 o'clock the dancers are tired and leave.....AGGGHHH............. To the first- You get what you pay for-we'll miss you.....to the 2nd -Get a life ..to the 3rd  Have a ROUND DANCE, pay for a hall, and enjoy.....meanwhile SQUARE DANCE and enjoy the bonus of rounds..........unless the Euro Style of No Rounds takes over......it just may
